Donate Your Produce
Once a fruit or vegetable gets picked, it's only a matter of time until it goes bad. Unlike canned and packaged goods, fresh produce does not have a long shelf life. So, either you sell it quickly or you have to donate it -- otherwise, it gets trashed.
Donating items is expensive and time consuming. Unfortunately, it's simply easier and cheaper to just throw away excess produce. But before you do that, please keep this mission in mind.
This mission is NOT a 501(c)(3). But I hope that reducing food waste means much more to you than whom you donate your items to.
If you have excess produce, I am willing to do the following to make donating those items easier for you:
1. I will come to you. I will never ask you to deliver anything. You are busy enough!
2. I will pack and load myself. I won't ever ask you to load anything. Just tell me what you want to get rid of and I'll pack and load it myself.
3. I will, at your request, put your business name on this website. If you become a regular supplier, I'd be happy to add your name and website to this website to help support your business.
I will accept produce from any of the following:
Supermarkets
Wholesale produce companies
Farmers
Food pantries
Individuals
If you're an individual and you grew more stuff than you could handle, I will pick up from you IF you have a sizable amount. So, if you simply have one small box of produce, please consider giving to your neighborhoods, friends, or dropping them off at a local food pantry, church, etc. However, you are welcome to drop off at a location I choose (such as my home) if you're close by. I do have to consider gas as I drive a truck, so if I pick up, I really want it to be enough to give out to several families.
If you have enough produce to fill several boxes, I'd be happy to come out to you. Please fill out the contact form below and explain in detail what you'd like to donate.
Ready to donate? Please fill out the form below and we'll get in contact with you within 24 to 48 hours.
